  1. I have not attempted something like this and do not even know where to begin. Do you have instructions or a tutorial on how to make the green splatter effect? I'd love to learn this technique. Thanks.

    1. Hi Kathleen! Thanks so much for stopping in!
The green "splatter" panel I created for this card was made using a product called "Colorbursts". You can find more info about the product itself here:
Ken has some wonderful tutorials on all the different ways you can use the colorbursts.
For this specific card, I slightly moistened my watercolour paper, and added small amts of Chartreuse, Tourquiose, and Lime Green. I carefully blotted up excess water, but added as necessary to achieve the shades I liked. They react SO beautifully with the water - :) The beauty of it is there are NO mistakes - they simply combine to make beautiful, colorful backgrounds and I try to save every scrap of paper - you never know when you might need it ;).
Good luck with beginning to play with these Colorbursts - you will be hooked!

  2. Fabulous!! Love your color burst background... and the tree theme throughout the card is perfection!!

  3. This is fabulous Amber, love the colour and wonderful design. I am a new follower!
